According to the video published by the SBU, the action involved coordinated FPV drone attacks on four strategic Russian airfields: Olenya, Ivanovo, Dyagilevo, and Belaya. These air bases housed a crucial part of Russia’s strategic aviation fleet, including models such as A-50, Tu-95, Tu-22, Tu-160, as well as An-12 transport aircraft and Il-78 aerial refueling planes.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, a significant portion of these aircraft was completely destroyed, making recovery impossible. Others, while not entirely lost, will require years of work and resources to be restored.

Drones with AI and hybrid control
The operation also impressed with the use of cutting-edge technology in UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) control, combining autonomous artificial intelligence algorithms with manual operator commands. In cases of signal loss, the drones switched to automatic mode, following pre-programmed routes to their designated targets. The explosive warhead was triggered automatically upon impact with the intended objective.
