Experts from the Russian company Vityaz Machine-Building Company, part of the Uralvagonzavod conglomerate under the state-owned Rostec Corporation, have completed the adaptation of two fuel tanker trucks with special protection against shrapnel and drone attacks.

The vehicles are intended for combat missions in the invasion of Ukraine and were delivered to a special forces unit of the Rosgvardiya.

The unit is named in honor of General Minigali Shaimuratov, a historical figure of the Russian National Guard Troops. In an official statement, the detachment’s command thanked Uralvagonzavod for its direct support and the “patriotism demonstrated” in the prompt delivery of the reinforced vehicles.

“The work was carried out excellently by all those responsible for the fast and high-quality execution of the order. As always, the professionals from the hull welding workshop and their colleagues from other departments showed great competence,” highlighted Sergey, project engineer at MK Vityaz.
