Embraer’s aircraft completed 54 flights, surpassed 140 operating hours, and covered more than 47,000 nautical miles in a campaign that began at the Singapore Airshow and concluded at FIDAE in Chile

The KC-390 Millennium concluded its latest international demonstration tour after operating in 11 countries, completing 54 flights, and accumulating more than 140 flight hours over a period of more than 70 days. The aircraft returned to Brazil after taking part in FIDAE (Feria Internacional del Aire y del Espacio) in Chile, landing at Embraer Defense & Security’s facility in Gavião Peixoto, in the interior of São Paulo state.

According to Embraer, the campaign was completed with 100% mission accomplishment. During the tour, the KC-390 covered more than 47,000 nautical miles and was subjected to different operational conditions, including extreme cold in the Arctic and hot, humid environments in parts of Asia.

The presentations included a series of cargo transport operations, involving the movement of containers, medical modules, light and heavy vehicles, as well as palletized cargo. According to the manufacturer, the demonstrations were intended to highlight the aircraft’s versatility in tactical and logistics missions, as well as its ability to adapt to different operational scenarios.

Embraer also said that each of the 54 flights carried out during the campaign reinforced attributes such as interoperability, operational flexibility, efficiency, and lower operating costs. The company also highlighted the model’s readiness to meet the demands of air forces in more complex operations.

The tour began in late January during the Singapore Airshow and passed through regions considered strategic for the demonstration campaign, including countries such as Poland, Sweden, and the United States, before concluding at FIDAE in Chile.

With the end of the campaign, Embraer reinforces the KC-390 Millennium’s position in the international military transport market, presenting the aircraft as a platform developed for complex missions in different operational environments.
