Ferrari has unveiled the new Amalfi, a two-door coupé that arrives to replace the Roma and pay tribute to the brand’s classic GTs from the 1950s and 1960s.

Although it maintains the same aluminum platform and wheelbase as its predecessor, the model has undergone deep design changes, with all body panels redesigned. Highlights include the new “shark nose” style front grille, more technical headlights and taillights, and a restyled hood. According to design chief Flavio Manzoni, the visual approach follows a “minimalist, technical and pure” line, focusing on sculpted and fluid forms.

Inside, the Amalfi features a cabin designed to feel more spacious, thanks to a new horizontally-oriented central console made of machined aluminum, and a revamped infotainment system with three screens, including a 10.25-inch landscape-format central display. Physical controls on the steering wheel and the start button make a return after criticism of the capacitive functions in more recent models. The driving position remains precise, with a compact steering wheel and firm front seats, although rear seat space remains symbolic.

Under the hood, the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 has been retained, now producing 631 hp—just 20 more than the Roma—but with internal upgrades that include faster turbos and lighter components.

Rear-wheel drive is retained with an eight-speed automated gearbox, and Ferrari has chosen not to adopt all-wheel drive in order to preserve dynamic balance.

To handle the power, the model includes advanced electronics inherited from the 296 GTB.

The Amalfi will go on sale in Europe in the first quarter of 2026, starting at \$283,100 in Italy. The convertible version does not yet have a release date.
