Embraer has unveiled the Phenom 300EV, a new generation of its light business jet featuring a series of improvements in performance, comfort, and safety.

The main highlight is the integration of the Garmin Emergency Autoland system, which can take control of the aircraft and perform an automatic landing if the pilot becomes incapacitated during the flight.

According to the manufacturer, the Phenom 300EV will be the world’s largest business jet equipped with this technology. The model has also received new features designed to reduce pilot workload, including automatic braking (Autobrake), an emergency descent mode, automatic engine power control, and an updated version of the Garmin Prodigy Touch avionics suite.

The new jet’s range has been increased to up to 3,806 kilometers, while its payload capacity has also been improved. The cabin has been upgraded as well, with an air ionization system, a vacuum toilet, a new galley area, and an option for connectivity through low-Earth-orbit satellites, with the possibility of future integration with the Starlink network.

Embraer says the Phenom 300 family has led the global light jet market for 14 consecutive years. With the launch of the Phenom 300EV, the company aims to maintain this position by incorporating new technologies focused on operational safety and the passenger experience.
