A woman recorded the moment a driver crashed into a Krispy Kreme shop just seconds after hitting her car in a parking lot.
The video of the incident, posted by content creator Veneekia on her TikTok profile, has already surpassed 26 million views.
According to Veneekia, she had parked to buy donuts when the driver of a Chevrolet Avalanche stopped extremely close to her Mercedes-Benz. After feeling an impact, she got out of the vehicle to check for damage but found no visible signs of damage.
In the footage, the woman asks the driver whether he knew how to get the vehicle moving and suggests that he maneuver it. Still looking at his phone, the man says he does. Seconds later, however, he accelerates and crashes through the front of the shop.
In videos posted later, Veneekia said the driver hit her car a second time before crashing into the establishment.
After the accident, she called emergency services and returned to the scene to check whether the man was conscious. Krispy Kreme employees took advantage of the situation to hand out free donuts to the people at the scene.
When the police arrived, Veneekia said she was informed that the driver had undergone several surgeries that caused him to lose sensation in his legs and that, for this reason, he should not have been driving. The circumstances of the accident have not been officially confirmed by the authorities.
