The combat vehicles are produced by Kurganmashzavod, part of the High Precision Systems holding of Rostec State Corporation. This version of the armored BT-3F vehicle is adapted to the cold conditions of the Far North.

The machine features an insulated body and is equipped with an independent heating system, capable of maintaining a positive temperature in the cabin even with the main engine off. Additionally, the Arctic BT-3F is fitted with special tracks with extenders that reduce ground pressure. This significantly enhances the vehicle’s cross-country capability on virgin snow.

The armored personnel carrier is designed to transport motorized infantry and specialized units and can also serve as a tactical command post and medical vehicle.

The BT-3F is armed with a 12.7 mm autonomous combat module with an integrated thermal viewer and laser rangefinder.
