Produced by Baoji Special Vehicles Manufacturing in Shaanxi province, China, the Tiger 4×4 was designed to transport infantry with reinforced armor protection.

The vehicle can be adapted for various functions, including command post, law enforcement, riot control, and ambulance.
The Tiger 4×4 accommodates a crew of two and can carry up to nine fully equipped infantry soldiers.

Bolivia received these vehicles for the first time in 2016, and despite having undergone extensive off-road tests demonstrating their mobility in various terrains and weather conditions, the recent malfunction raises questions about the reliability of these armored vehicles in real combat scenarios.
