A Ukrainian VYRIY 15 drone struck a Russian logistics target from a distance of 110 kilometers, setting a new milestone for this type of small unmanned aircraft.

The information was disclosed by Yaroslav Azhniuk, a representative of the company The Fourth Law. According to Azhniuk, the mission was carried out without the use of a “mother drone” or relay aircraft, a solution frequently used to extend the operational range of FPV drones.

The achievement surpasses the previous record of just over 100 kilometers, demonstrating the rapid development of technology produced by Ukraine’s defense industry.

Although details about the target were not disclosed, the drone reportedly struck a Russian logistics support position located far beyond the front line. The increased range allows relatively inexpensive drones to hit warehouses, vehicles, and supply centers in areas previously considered safe.

The advance comes amid a growing technological race between Ukraine and Russia over the use of FPV drones. Both sides have been investing in greater endurance, resistance to electronic warfare, and increased range for these aircraft, which have become one of the conflict’s main weapons because of their low cost and high precision.
