Ukrainian manufacturer Trinity Robotics has announced that it raised more than US$570,000 in investments from Swedish companies Front Ventures AB and Hede Capital, as well as the Defence Builder Fund I.

The funds will be used to expand the production capacity of the Konyk ONE unmanned ground vehicle, developed to carry out high-risk missions on the battlefield and reduce soldiers’ exposure to hostile fire.

With the new financial backing, the company plans to increase its monthly production from up to 70 units to more than 150 units as early as July 2026. The Konyk ONE can carry up to 300 kilograms across difficult terrain, transport supplies and evacuate wounded service members from combat areas while maintaining communications through different systems, including LTE networks, Starlink and digital radios.

Trinity Robotics says its unmanned vehicles are already operating in virtually every sector of the front line in Ukraine and are used by more than 20 of the country’s military units. The equipment has also received NATO codification, a certification indicating compliance with the alliance’s technical standards and facilitating its potential adoption by the armed forces of member countries.

The investment also reflects growing international interest in Ukraine’s defence industry. With support from the government-backed Brave1 programme and consulting firm Axendra, Trinity is strengthening its position in a market that is attracting increasing amounts of foreign capital, alongside the expanding use of ground robots in military operations and rising demand for combat-tested technologies.
