The user managed to record the uncomfortable moment she experienced during a flight when a man invaded her space to take photos outside the plane. The video, which has over 4.5 million views on TikTok, impressed users with the lack of courtesy from the girl’s seatmate.
“Do people not know personal space? And that you can choose a window seat?” complained user @sterlingsavannah in the text accompanying the video, in which she is subsequently shown sitting uncomfortably by the window while an older gentleman in the middle seat repeatedly passes by her face.
Many users left comments on the video, and some even asked why she didn’t defend herself and suggested that she should have addressed the man’s behavior by initiating a friendly dialogue or even closing the window shade.
Unfortunately, similar situations have become increasingly common. Experts suggest “initiating a polite conversation” with the person invading one’s space or, if it’s a very extreme case, informing the flight attendant about what is happening.
