Four luxury car drivers were arrested and had their vehicles impounded after speeding on the roads of Grand Teton National Park in the United States.

The group was part of OutRun, an exclusive rally organized by Nu Rally, aimed at supercar and hypercar owners, with a route running from Washington State to Las Vegas. To stop the offenders, 12 National Park Service rangers had to carry out a coordinated intervention.

According to authorities, the participants were driving dangerously and irresponsibly in an area with heavy tourist traffic and the presence of endangered animals such as grizzly bears and Canadian lynxes. No people or animals were injured, but the drivers’ behavior was deemed unacceptable by the park superintendent.

Nu Rally states in its terms that the event is not a competition and prohibits any form of racing among participants, but videos posted on social media show violations occurring at the beginning of the route. The park, which receives more than 3 million visitors annually, recorded the incident during its busiest month. So far, the rally organizers have not commented on the event.
