Most of the armored vehicles were assigned to the 16th Pomeranian Mechanized Division, including the 9th Brigade in Braniewo, the 20th Mechanized Brigade in Bartoszyce, and the 15th Mechanized Brigade in Giżyce. A smaller number of units were also sent to the Land Forces Training Center in Poznań.
The remaining 70 units are expected to be delivered by the end of 2025. With that, the tank battalions in Braniewo and Orzysz will be fully re-equipped with the modern K2, whose deployment began at the end of 2024.
