Bentley has unveiled the 2027 Flying Spur, a significant update to its luxury sedan that adopts the brand’s new visual style and expands the range of versions.
The main highlight is that the lineup once again includes the Flying Spur S version, which returns after years away from the catalog. The model uses a plug-in hybrid setup consisting of a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and an electric motor, delivering 671 hp and 930 Nm of torque. According to Bentley, this allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 307 km/h.
At the top of the range remains the Flying Spur Speed, equipped with a more powerful version of the hybrid system. The setup produces 782 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful four-door sedan ever produced by Bentley.
In addition to the performance increase, Bentley has introduced new technologies to improve the vehicle’s dynamics, including an electronic rear differential, torque vectoring system, and 48-volt active anti-roll bars. On the exterior, the main change is at the front, which now uses single headlights inspired by the Continental GT, abandoning the traditional four-headlight setup featured on the manufacturer’s sedans since 1962.
