Italjet has just unveiled the new Roadster 400, a scooter that breaks barriers by adopting a design and stance worthy of a high-performance motorcycle. The model combines boldness, power and strong personality, betting on aggressive styling and technical solutions that promise to attract both traditional motorcyclists and premium scooter enthusiasts.
It is worth noting that Italjet is not exactly known for launching basic scooters. Previously, it impressed two-wheel enthusiasts with the launch of the Dragster 700 Twin, which features a liquid-cooled 692 cc parallel-twin engine.
Now, with the arrival of the Roadster 400, it is clear that the Italian company once again wants to make a statement about who they are and what they are capable of. The new model was presented during EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy.

The scooter is powered by a liquid-cooled 394 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 41.5 hp at 7,500 rpm and 41.4 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.
In terms of dimensions, the Roadster weighs 151 kg in running order, with a seat height of 790 millimeters and a wheelbase of 1540 millimeters.
Fuel tank capacity is 12 liters, which should be sufficient for short trips or casual rides throughout the week.
Among the new features, the Roadster 400 will receive the new DLAS system (Dynamic Linkage Articulated Steering), which is “an evolution of Italjet’s iconic single-arm design, offering precision and an unmistakable visual identity,” according to the brand.

“With the Roadster, we believe we have created more than just a scooter; it is truly Art in Motion. Its design pays homage to classic silhouettes of the past while drawing inspiration from fighter jets,” Italjet said in a statement.
The new Roadster 400 will be available globally starting in September 2026, with an estimated retail price of €7,500 (approximately US$8,600), including taxes.
