According to the official statement, the mobile missiles are carrying out a series of strategic tasks, including maneuvering along patrol routes and simulating real combat scenarios.
Yars system crews conduct marches of up to 100 km, perform engineering work on field positions, organize camouflage, and provide defense. They are also trained in countering enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
Additionally, support units are engaged in removing equipment from areas simulated to be contaminated with chemical agents, enhancing their ability to operate in hostile environments.
“These combat training activities are crucial for assessing the readiness of personnel, as well as weapons and military equipment, for extended strategic patrol missions,” stated the Chief of Staff of the missile division at the Barnaul complex of the Russian Strategic Missile Forces.
