
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the nuclear-powered submarine cruiser Arkhangelsk, of the Northern Fleet, successfully launched a Kalibr cruise missile during scheduled combat training exercises.

The launch took place in the waters of the Barents Sea, with the missile striking a target located at the Chizha test range in the Arkhangelsk region. According to Russian authorities, the distance to the target exceeded 600 kilometers.

“According to objective control data, the launch was successfully completed, with all technical and flight parameters confirmed,” the Ministry of Defense stated in an official announcement published on its official Telegram channel.
