Harley-Davidson has unveiled the CVO Road Glide RR 2025, a motorcycle inspired by King of the Baggers racing, featuring a Screamin’ Eagle 131-cubic-inch (2,147cc) engine delivering 153 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque.

This model, which retains about 90% of the characteristics of competition motorcycles, features high-performance components such as a liquid-cooled cylinder head, revised crankshaft, Akrapovic titanium exhaust, and adjustable Öhlins suspension.

Additionally, the extensive use of carbon fiber has helped reduce weight by about 22 kg compared to the standard CVO Road Glide.

While maintaining street-use elements such as legal lighting and a Rockford Fosgate sound system, the CVO Road Glide RR retains the aggressiveness of racing bikes, with a lean angle of up to 36 degrees to the right and 35 degrees to the left.

Only 131 units of this model will be produced, sold exclusively in the United States for $110,000. The first units will be allocated to top-performing dealerships, while the remainder will be sold through a lottery for interested customers.

Harley-Davidson’s decision to launch such an exclusive and expensive model reflects the need to renew its audience, as its traditional customer base is aging. The success of the King of the Baggers category has attracted new enthusiasts, and this motorcycle could help strengthen interest in the brand. While not a definitive solution for Harley-Davidson’s future, the CVO Road Glide RR represents a bold and necessary step to maintain the company’s relevance in the market.
