ZALA unveiled two versions of its KAMA unmanned multifunctional boat for the first time during the FLOT-2026 International Naval Exhibition, expanding its presence in the autonomous systems segment for maritime environments.

According to the company, the unmanned boats were developed for civil and special-purpose missions, including hydrographic surveys, environmental monitoring, identification of illegal discharges, and detection of pollution in aquatic areas. The vessels can also be used for patrol duties, territorial waters protection, rescue operations, and cargo transportation.

The KAMA has an endurance of up to 12 hours, a speed of 12 knots (approximately 22.2 km/h), and the ability to maintain its position even in sea conditions with waves up to level three. According to ZALA, the boats can travel up to 700 kilometers and carry a payload of up to 600 kilograms.

Among the planned features are thermal imaging cameras and an automatic return system in the event of communication loss. The company highlights that, compared to unmanned aerial vehicles, autonomous boats offer greater endurance, longer range, and higher payload capacity—characteristics considered especially important for rescue missions, research activities, and logistical support.
