A YouTuber who decided to install the engine from a Honda Gold Wing into a Volkswagen Beetle left internet users quite impressed.
The project is the result of the ambitious content creator JT Built It, who shared a 12-minute video detailing the build process on his YouTube channel.
The clip includes several segments of the assembly process, work that must have taken months. The footage shows JT preparing the engine for installation and, of course, making some modifications to the Beetle’s bodywork.
As a result, JT proved that his concept is functional. Although he is still working on a few issues with the Beetle, he surprised followers by sharing that he already has another project in mind.
At the end of the video, JT showed a Porsche 914/4, which will be the next test subject for an engine “transplant.” The 914 he presented already has a rust problem, but he will likely document its restoration process as well.
