Yamaha Motor India has officially announced the launch of the new FZ-X Hybrid 2025, featuring visual upgrades and a light hybrid system aimed at improving fuel efficiency.

The motorcycle will be available in an exclusive matte green shade called Matte Titan with golden wheels and can already be reserved online or at authorized Yamaha dealerships in India. Deliveries are expected to begin soon.

The highlight of the new FZ-X is the hybrid technology focused on fuel savings. The model is equipped with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), which enables smoother and quieter starts, along with a start-stop function that automatically shuts off the engine during short stops, helping to reduce fuel consumption in urban settings.

The bike retains its air-cooled 149 cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 12.4 hp of power and 13.3 N·m of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. While the performance figures remain unchanged from the standard version, the hybrid technology is designed to deliver better mileage per litre, rather than increased power.

Among the tech upgrades, the FZ-X Hybrid 2025 comes equipped with a 4.2-inch color TFT display and a new digital dashboard that provides additional information about the hybrid system and traction control.

The motorcycle also features front telescopic forks and a rear monoshock with seven adjustment levels. Braking is handled by disc brakes on both wheels, with a single-channel ABS and traction control system for enhanced safety.

Weighing 141 kg, the hybrid version is only 2 kg heavier than the standard FZ-X due to the addition of the hybrid components. Visually and mechanically, both versions remain nearly identical.
