Chinese manufacturer Yadea, one of the global leaders in electric motorcycles, presented its first autonomous scooter at the Interlagos Festival in São Paulo, Brazil.

Still in the testing phase, the model is capable of moving forward and backward on its own, controlled via smartphone or computer, thanks to a gyroscope system that maintains balance.

However, for now, the technology is limited to simple maneuvers and does not yet allow for full autonomous riding. The model continues to be tested in China, Thailand, and Mexico, with no expected release date.

In Brazil, however, Yadea has confirmed the debut of two electric vehicles: the Keeness motorcycle and the Owin scooter. In addition, the company also announced local production in the north of the country and ambitious expansion plans, with the opening of over 300 units in Brazil in the coming years.

Yadea is betting on a combination of innovative technology and growth strategies in emerging markets, following the global trend of electrification and automation in the urban mobility sector.
