On the eve of Airborne Forces Day, Rostec delivered a new batch of BMD-4M airborne combat vehicles and BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles to the Russian army.

The information was released by Kurganmashzavod, part of the “High-Precision Complexes” holding, which provided these vehicles according to the schedule established by the Ministry of Defense.
According to the company, the BMD-4M and BMP-3 vehicles, known for their enhanced safety features, have received standard armor and lattice screens, significantly increasing their survivability in combat. The additional protection is provided along with the equipment and installed in the units, allowing for rapid transportation on standard cargo platforms.
In addition to infantry fighting vehicles, Rostec produces a wide range of weapons and special equipment for airborne troops, who are celebrating their professional day today. Notable among the equipment are the 2S41 “Drok” self-propelled mortars and parachute systems for equipment drops.
The holding is also rapidly sending the BMD-2 to the troops after a major overhaul, further strengthening the operational capacity of Russia’s Airborne Forces.
