Volvo has announced pricing for the new EX60 in the United States, placing the electric SUV directly against the BMW iX3. The Swedish model launches at a lower price than its German rival — at least in the entry-level versions.
According to the website Motor1, the entry-level EX60 P6 Plus will start at US$59,795, including destination fees. That undercuts the current US$62,850 price tag of the BMW iX3 50 xDrive.
The EX60 lineup will include several configurations. The all-wheel-drive P10 Plus starts at US$62,145, while the Ultra versions reach US$68,745. Volvo has not yet confirmed pricing for the range-topping P12 AWD variant.
The SUV uses the new SPA3 platform with an 800-volt electrical architecture developed specifically for electric vehicles. According to Volvo, the system allows fast charging from 10% to 80% in around 16 minutes on the main versions.

In terms of performance, the EX60 will offer outputs ranging from 369 hp to 670 hp, depending on the chosen configuration. Meanwhile, the BMW iX3 50 xDrive, the model’s main rival, delivers 463 hp.
Despite its competitive pricing, Volvo still trails BMW in driving range on the entry-level models. The EX60 P6 offers around 494 km of range, while the iX3 reaches up to 698 km on a single charge.
The EX60 is considered one of Volvo’s most important launches in accelerating its transition toward fully electric vehicles. The first deliveries in the United States are expected to begin later this year.
