Volkswagen has just unveiled the Transporter Sportline, a sporty van that brings all the energy of a hatchback into a bold body style.
While the press images show the five-seat Kombi, customers can also choose the Transporter Sportline in a panel van configuration. Both are offered with short- and long-wheelbase options.
Its 19-inch wheels stand out on the exterior, but the lowered sport suspension with Eibach springs also deserves attention, reducing the vehicle’s ride height by 29 millimeters.

At the rear, the Transporter Sportline features a small roof spoiler, maintaining a sporty feel in the bodywork. Up front, the red accent stripe on the grille looks like it was taken straight from the Polo GTI or Golf GTI.
It also comes standard with a wide range of aesthetic and functional features, from matrix LED headlights and roof rails to a heated steering wheel and illuminated metal door sill plates.

The red trim, which also strongly recalls a GTI, is contrasted by gloss-black details, including electrically adjustable and heated mirrors.
As with its predecessor, the newcomer leaves the powertrains unchanged. The Transporter Sportline will be sold with diesel, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric power options.
