The new generation, part of the “Project Cyclone” in collaboration with Ford, will be very similar to the recently launched Ford Transit Custom, featuring robust diesel engines, an electric version, and a design aimed at giving the Transporter its own identity.

The new model will include innovations such as a flat cabin floor and an L-shaped bulkhead, increasing storage space.

The Transporter will have a maximum payload capacity of 1.33 tons and a towing weight of 2.8 tons, with external dimensions growing compared to the previous model. There will be different length and height options, providing an internal load capacity between 5.8 m³ and 9.0 m³.

In terms of engines, the Transporter will offer diesel options with 110, 150, and 170 horsepower, as well as a plug-in hybrid and a fully electric model. Additionally, the new model features LED headlights, lane-keeping assistance, and a 13-inch touchscreen.

Although prices have not yet been announced for the UK, the model is expected to start at approximately $40,000 in Germany, with an expected arrival in 2025.
