This generation is longer and wider than the previous one, with sliding doors on both sides and a retractable roof in all models. Additionally, the lineup now includes a plug-in hybrid version, offering a greater variety in terms of powertrain options.

The new California offers five models: Beach, Beach Tour, Beach Camper, Coast, and Ocean. Each model has its own features, such as different seating configurations, mini kitchens, and camping functionalities.

The Beach is the most basic, with a manually retractable roof and seating for six people. The Beach Tour and the higher models have swiveling front seats, lighting in the retractable roof, and a 5-inch control screen to manage camping functions.

The more advanced models, such as the Coast and the Ocean, have more comprehensive kitchens with sink, refrigerator, and stove, while the Ocean, the top model, offers additional features like heated front seats and an auxiliary heater.

Despite all the innovation, the new California will not be sold in the United States, being destined only for the European market, with sales starting in June and deliveries expected by the end of the year.
