The refreshed interior of the Golf, showcased earlier this month at CES, includes traditional buttons on the steering wheel for the hot hatch versions and Golf R.
The infotainment system features a sizable tablet-style screen, a 10.4-inch unit in the base models, and a 12.9-inch panel in the top-tier versions.
The unchanged capacitive climate control sliders with backlighting remain, and an optional head-up display is also offered.
The base Golf model comes with a 1.5-liter TSI gasoline engine producing either 113 hp or 148 hp of maximum power.
The mild-hybrid variant gets the 1.5-liter eTSI setup with identical outputs but is exclusively available with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
A more powerful 2.0 TSI engine with 201 hp is also optional.
For diesel enthusiasts, the 2.0-liter TDI engine develops 113 hp with a six-speed manual gearbox or 148 hp with a seven-speed DSG transmission.
