According to a statement released by the brigade’s press service on Telegram, the Russian operation involved 52 units of armored vehicles, supported by airstrikes.
The attack began after intense bombardment of Ukrainian positions with guided air bombs. Subsequently, Russian forces advanced with a mechanized attack from multiple directions, attempting to break through the paratroopers’ defensive lines.

However, Ukrainian soldiers responded with force. Using FPV drones to target armored vehicles and enemy infantry, the defensive units managed to halt the Russian advance before it could cause significant damage. Additionally, Ukrainian artillery, tanks, and assault troops were mobilized to counter the offensive and eliminate the presence of Russian infantry.

Despite the Russians’ preparations, the invading forces lost 8 tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, 4 armored vehicles, an MT-LB, and other equipment. In total, 26 of the 52 armored vehicles were destroyed, along with 72 Russian soldiers who were neutralized in the confrontation.

The actions of the paratroopers were crucial in stopping the Russian advance in the region and securing Ukrainian positions, demonstrating effective resistance against a coordinated and massive attack.
