Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, shared the attack footage, capturing the moment of destruction.

The Russian air defense system was hidden in a wooded area, attempting to camouflage itself during operations. However, it was detected by a Ukrainian drone monitoring the region.

The video shows that the Buk-M1 was loaded with three anti-aircraft guided missiles at the time of the strike. After the munition was dropped, the initial explosion caused the detonation of the onboard missiles, including their warheads and solid fuel, due to the high temperatures generated.

The system was completely destroyed, making any repair or restoration impossible. The attack neutralized the 9A310, a self-propelled firing unit (SPU) used as a launcher. This equipment is especially valuable for its ability to autonomously detect targets and guide missiles.
