The destruction of the tanks occurred as they attempted to approach the Russian-Ukrainian border in the Sumy region. Thanks to the quick actions of the aerial reconnaissance unit, it was possible to identify two enemy tanks stuck in the mud, unable to continue moving.

Initially, it was planned to destroy the tanks with artillery. However, due to the difficulty of conducting precise fire, it was decided to use FPV drones for the destruction. FPV drones from the “Wings for Hell” unit of the 103rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade successfully targeted and destroyed the immobilized tanks.

It is worth noting that after an unsuccessful attempt to carry out assault operations in the Kharkiv region, the enemy is trying a similar maneuver in the Sumy region. Currently, Ukrainian Defense Forces are clearing liberated settlements, where they manage to capture a large number of invaders.

On May 10, 2024, the Russians launched assault operations in the Kharkiv region, particularly in the direction of the city of Vovchansk. Simultaneously, the Russians began shelling the city, located 5 km from the border with the Russian Federation, with rockets and barrel artillery.

Previously, the Militarnyi website reported that Ukrainian Defense Forces had captured a dozen Russian soldiers in the Kharkiv region. The published photo showed about a dozen Russian prisoners captured during a new invasion attempt in the Kharkiv region.
