The homing system developed by Ptashka Drones also allows for tracking and changing targets in real time. “We have the ability to cancel and adjust the target. We can aim at a moving target,” the company stated, highlighting the flexibility and accuracy of the new system.

The developers emphasized that this system is exclusive to drones manufactured by their company. With this technology, drones can operate independently until they reach their targets, eliminating the need for constant operator intervention.

However, the implementation of the homing system faces significant challenges, mainly due to the high cost of components. Despite this, Ptashka Drones stated that the cost of their system is relatively affordable, at only $200.

This innovation represents an important milestone for the Ukrainian defense industry, strengthening the country’s ability to develop advanced UAV technologies for both military and civilian applications.
