During the live-fire test conducted the previous day, two TEBER fixed-wing kits were fired from the Bayraktar AKINCI UCAV, hitting their targets with complete accuracy.
With the addition of fixed wings, the TEBER shows a significant improvement in maneuverability, especially in firing profiles that require high G-forces. The TEBER is compatible with fighter jets, various fixed-wing aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
It is equipped with a semi-active laser seeker, a global positioning system, and an inertial navigation system.
Designed for use against all types of ground targets, both stationary and moving, the TEBER weighs 150 kg and has a maximum range of 23 kilometers when used with the Mk-81 bomb.
The TEBER-82, which uses the Mk-82 bomb, weighs 260 kilograms and has a maximum range of 28 kilometers. The range of the TEBER-81/82 varies depending on the speed and altitude of the launcher.
Integration of Proximity Sensor
The TEBER-81/82 can optionally be integrated with a proximity sensor, allowing the munition to detonate automatically at a close distance to the target. Under ideal conditions, the TEBER-81/82 munition can achieve accuracy of less than 3 meters.
