A video captured the moment a United Airlines aircraft experienced a “mechanical issue” while landing at Orlando International Airport.
According to a report by The New York Post, the incident occurred last Sunday (18). The aircraft had departed from O’Hare International Airport in Chicago bound for Orlando.
However, while attempting to land at Orlando airport, the plane suffered a “mechanical issue,” which forced passengers to be transported to the terminal by bus, a United spokesperson told The Post.
Footage of the landing began circulating on social media, with many users suggesting that the nose wheel appeared to roll out from the aircraft and spin across the runway area.
After landing, the aircraft was cleared from the runway. According to FAA data, no delays were recorded on other flights on Sunday afternoon as a result of the incident. No injuries were reported, authorities added.
