A video released by the Ministry of Defense shows details of the current operation of the factory, which is now focused on producing the updated model of the T-80BVM tank. Notably, these vehicles are being equipped with the modern “Cape” camouflage complex and a protective visor directly on the assembly line. Additionally, all tanks produced now come out of the factory with an additional turret protection module, ensuring greater safety and combat effectiveness.

During the visit, the minister was briefed that the next batch of armored vehicles is ready to be shipped to the troops. These tanks have been loaded onto rail platforms and are ready to be dispatched to the special operations zone, highlighting the efficiency and speed of the production and delivery process.
Sergei Shoigu was also informed about the significant increase in production of heavy rocket launcher systems TOS-1A “Solntsepek”, which has grown 2.5 times in the past year. This increase was made possible due to the expansion of production capabilities, transitioning to a continuous two-shift work regime, and the growth in the number of employees.
In order to ensure that the factory continues to have highly skilled personnel, Omsktransmash maintains a Training and Advanced Training Center for Personnel. This center is responsible for training and retraining workers in the most demanded professions in the sector. Since 2023, the factory’s staff has increased by over 1200 people, with 533 workers being trained in the past year in key vocational training programs.
