France has donated contactless RALEC F3 fuses used in the “CAESAR” howitzers to Ukraine, significantly increasing the effectiveness of the Ukrainian armed forces on the battlefield.

This advanced technology will allow Ukrainian gunners to detonate missiles before they hit the ground, offering a new layer of defensive strategy and causing significant damage to enemy positions.
For infantry in the trenches, it is a real hell from which there is virtually no escape.
FU-RALEC DE F3
The FU-RALEC DE F3 is a French high-explosive radio detonator, designed for use with standard NATO 155 mm ammunition, providing both impact (PD) and delayed action. The term “FU RALEC DE” stands for “Fusée Radioélectrique Double Effet”, meaning “radio-electric ignition device with dual effect”. This mechanism operates based on the detection of reflected signals from a target, essentially functioning as a radar, where a radio transmitter and receiver are integrated into a single unit, allowing for the precise detonation of the ammunition before it reaches the ground.
