Two Russian supersonic strategic bombers, the Tu-160, conducted a planned flight over the neutral waters of the Arctic Ocean and the Laptev Sea, lasting more than ten hours, the Ministry of Defense of Russia reported.

“The flight was carried out in strict compliance with international rules for the use of airspace,” said Lieutenant General Sergei Kobylash, commander of long-range aviation.
“Long-range aviation pilots regularly fly over the neutral waters of the Arctic, the North Atlantic, the Black and Baltic Seas, and the Pacific Ocean,” he emphasized.
