The ships of the Caspian Flotilla participated in a simulated naval battle against a fictional enemy as part of the large-scale exercises of the Russian Navy.
More than 20 warships and support vessels from the flotilla were mobilized to the maritime areas during these exercises.

Specialized mine defense ships ensured the safe withdrawal of forces from the base and the clearing of navigation routes. In combat zones, crews of small missile and artillery ships formed marching formations and began patrolling the area.
Upon detecting a detachment of ships from a fictional enemy, the crews of the artillery units adjusted their targets and, upon reaching maximum firing range, engaged in an artillery duel. Additionally, during the simulated battle, the Caspian Flotilla ships repelled aerial attacks, conducted training on combat survival capabilities, and performed maneuvers to withdraw forces from the attack.
