During the mission, a Russian army aviation attack group targeted a concentration of Ukrainian resistance forces and armored vehicles in the direction of Krasnolimansk. The attack was carried out using unguided S-8 missiles, launched as close as possible to the targets.
A pilot from one of the Ka-52 attack helicopters reported the mission’s success, stating that all targets were precisely hit by the missiles and that the operation was successfully completed.
The attack group consisted of the Ka-52 Alligator reconnaissance and attack helicopter, the Mi-35M transport and combat helicopter, and the Mi-8 multifunctional helicopter. They were accompanied by specialists from the search and rescue group and the fire support group, highlighting the complexity and coordination required for such operations in adverse weather conditions.
This event highlights Russia’s military capabilities and the intensity of confrontations in the Ukrainian region, even in challenging weather conditions.
