One of the most significant armored attacks of the war recently occurred in Russia, resulting in catastrophic losses for the invaders.

The event, which reportedly took place in the direction of Avdiivka, the area of the village of Tonenke, on March 30, 2024, witnessed the deployment of a considerable force by Russia, with 36 tanks and 12 BMPs (Infantry Fighting Vehicles) involved in the attack.
This amount of armored vehicles marks one of Russia’s largest offensive efforts since the battles for Avdiivka in 2024. However, despite the show of strength, the operation resulted in serious casualties for the Russian army. According to reports, the Ukrainians managed to destroy 12 tanks and 8 infantry fighting vehicles during the confrontation.

The images shared from the battlefield reveal some of the losses suffered by the Russians, highlighting the extent of the damage inflicted during the conflict. The action was attributed to the 25th Airborne of Ukraine, which managed to neutralize soldiers from the 6th Armored Regiment of Russia’s 90th Guards Tank Division.
These losses represent a significant blow to Russia and demonstrate the tenacity and effectiveness of the Ukrainian forces in defending their territory.
