In another phase of the exercise, the crews of the frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov and the corvette Gremyashchiy conducted a coordinated search for a simulated enemy submarine. After detecting the submerged target, the units practiced pursuit tactics intended to force the submarine to surface.
The teams also trained in defense against attacks by unmanned boats and hostile drones, in addition to carrying out damage control and onboard survival procedures.
The exercise reinforces the Pacific Fleet’s capability to operate in an integrated manner in complex and high-intensity scenarios, enhancing readiness for defense missions and naval power projection in distant waters.
