The BMP-3 is an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) developed by the Soviet Union in the 1980s and continues to be one of the most advanced IFVs in service with various armed forces around the world.

The BMP-3 is notable for its powerful armament. It is equipped with a 100 mm cannon that can also fire anti-tank guided missiles, a 30 mm automatic cannon, and a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun. This combination of weapons provides significant capability against a variety of targets, including armored vehicles and enemy troops.
The armor of the BMP-3 offers protection against small-caliber ammunition and artillery shrapnel.
The BMP-3 is known for its good mobility both on rough terrain and on paved roads. It is also an amphibious vehicle, capable of crossing bodies of water using two water jets at the rear.
