Morgan Motors collaborated with Pininfarina to create a special edition of the Morgan Plus Six, called Midsummer.

This exclusive model features a hand-beaten aluminum bodywork inspired by designs from the 1930s and 1940s, which took over 250 hours to complete. The model is limited to just 50 units, all of which have already been sold.

The Midsummer stands out for its absence of a conventional windshield, replaced by sleek aerodynamic screens, and its larger headlights incorporating directional and daytime running lights.

The car is equipped with disc-shaped wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires, which improve aerodynamics and reduce the vehicle’s weight. The interior is adorned with numerous layers of laminated teak, enhancing its durability.

Although technical specifications have not been disclosed, it is expected that the Midsummer will use the BMW “B58” engine from the standard Plus Six, a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder producing 335 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

With prices ranging between $152,000 and $190,000, production of the Midsummer begins this year and ends in 2025, with its public debut scheduled for July at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Although all units have been sold, Morgan is open to customer proposals for future special projects.
