Luc Ackermann, a motocross rider considered a legend of backflips, joined the Red Bull team to pull off a breathtaking stunt.

At 27, Ackermann earned this title after becoming the youngest person to perform a backflip, a feat he achieved in 2010 when he was only 12 years old.

In 2017, just before turning 20, he became the youngest motorcyclist to perform a double backflip, and in 2020, he completed 10 backflips in 30 seconds, breaking Travis Pastrana’s record of 8 backflips.

Still, his most recent achievement is by far one of the most impressive. In the video shared by the Red Bull team, Ackermann is seen doing a Tsunami backflip between two moving trucks.

He traveled over 40 meters after clearing a 9-meter-high barrier, and to do so, he had to be launched at an exact speed of 74 km/h. Any mistake could have had tragic consequences.

Luckily, everything was meticulously calculated and planned by both Ackermann and the Red Bull team, with everyone involved having plenty of experience. Needless to say, this stunt should not be attempted at home.
