A medical helicopter that crashed in the Sacramento region of California (USA) left three people in critical condition.
The accident occurred on the night of last Monday (6) on Highway 50, according to local media outlets. The aircraft had just taken off from the University of California’s Davis Medical Center.
Three people on board — the pilot, a nurse, and a paramedic — were in critical condition after the crash and were taken to the hospital, Sacramento firefighters told CNN. No patient was being transported at the time of the accident.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is already underway, authorities from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said in a social media post on Tuesday (7).
