A man went viral after showing what he actually received after buying a bumper for his car online.
Cam’Ron Carter posted a video on his TikTok profile to share that he had bought a bumper for his car on Temu, an online shopping app. You can already tell this doesn’t sound like a good idea, but it seems Carter didn’t think of that.
When he opened the package, he discovered the bumper was completely flimsy. “The guy received a boneless bumper,” joked a TikTok user in the video’s comment section, which has already received over 2 million views.

Fortunately for Carter, some internet users suggested leaving it out in the sun, and after he did that, the bumper regained its shape. In another video, he showed that he installed the bumper on the front of his Chevrolet truck. The fit turned out great, leaving Carter visibly relieved.
Although Temu has gained a reputation for being a not-so-reliable e-commerce platform, these types of bumpers are actually quite common. They are made from polypropylene or ABS plastic, which are flexible materials that help reduce shipping costs. You just need to heat them for them to return to their original shape.
