The owner of a Lamborghini Huracán posted a video on TikTok to warn supercar enthusiasts who dream of having a Lambo in their garage one day.
Emtiaz Uddin, CEO of Ekko Vision, shared a clip to explain to his followers why his white Huracán had disappeared. According to him, the car was at the workshop because it needed an engine replacement.
Uddin, who lives in the Houston, Texas (USA) area, said he bought his Lamborghini Huracán brand new and drove it for about 19,000 km when a mount broke, which he attributed to Houston’s poor road conditions.
The broken mount apparently triggered a chain reaction, leading to the need for a complete engine replacement. Luckily for Uddin, the repair was covered under warranty, as the cost of the repair could exceed $100,000.
Noah Jay, who also owns a Lambo, posted a video reacting to Uddin’s clip and reflected on the expenses related to his own supercar.

Jay mentioned the costs of his recent maintenance, including a $500 oil change, a $3,000 diagnostic visit, and another repair that could cost around $20,000.
“[Uddin] asked me what my dream car would be if I became successful enough with [Ekko] to buy it,” Jay said in the clip.
“But he made sure to remind me that even if I made enough to buy the car, I’d have to keep working hard enough to be able to fix it.”

The video highlights an important issue: even if the car doesn’t suffer a catastrophic failure, basic maintenance costs are much higher for exotic vehicles.
You may have enough money to buy a Lamborghini, but the question remains — will you have enough to maintain it in the long term? Even if a surprise $100,000 repair comes up?
So, the message is clear: luxury performance comes with luxury maintenance. If you’re going to buy a supercar, be prepared to pay super bills.
