At around 6 a.m., explosions were heard in the Tuapse region. Subsequently, a fire broke out in an area of 50 square meters within the refinery’s facilities.
It is believed that the fire was caused by falling debris from the drones involved in the attack. By 8 a.m., local authorities confirmed that the fire had been extinguished.
This is not the first incident of this kind at the Russian refinery, which had previously been hit by similar drone attacks, resulting in temporary disruptions to its operations.
