At least one person died and eleven were injured when a car crashed into an emergency room at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center in the American city of Austin in the state of Texas.

EMS personnel estimate there were between 20 and 49 patients at the time of the incident, with reports of 11 injured people.
Among the victims were children. Austin police are categorizing the incident as a level 4 mass casualty incident and police are asking people to avoid the area.
Several police officers and other emergency teams are on the scene.
