One of the highlights was the integration of the AEI Systems 30×113 mm VENOM LR cannon into the Dragon 4×4 armored vehicle by NMS UK, using the TRAKON 30 RCWS (Remote Controlled Weapon System). This combination was showcased for the first time in the UK and attracted significant attention, having already been well received in Lithuania.
Considered one of the world’s lowest-recoil and fastest-adjustable cannons, the VENOM LR is compatible with all 30×113 mm ammunition, including the General Dynamics M788 used in the UK’s Apache helicopters.
The system’s versatility allows it to be used on both 4×4 ground vehicles and naval platforms, offering flexibility and logistical advantages in diverse operational scenarios.
